Company background

Founded in 2005, Apigee delivers the products that enable businesses to become digital businesses. The Apigee API Platform includes an application programming interface (API) management platform that enables businesses, developers, and data scientists to deliver well-designed, scalable APIs and apps, drive developer adoption, and use machine learning and the analytics platform to extract business value from their API ecosystems. Apigee helps customers accelerate internal development through APIs, use analytics to power predictive APIs and applications, and gain end-to-end visibility into business with the ability to analyze 360 degrees of information, grow their reach with mobile apps, and create new products and business models with partners and developers.

Our code, which handles billions of API calls per day with up to 99.99% availability, is built on cutting-edge technologies: Cassandra, Qpid, Graphite, Go, Elasticsearch, Kibana, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, Hadoop, and Spark, to name a few.

Many of the world’s largest organizations select Apigee to enable their digital business. Apigee customers include global enterprises such as Walgreens, Burberry, Morningstar, and First Data.
