Andreas Åkre Solberg is a Senior Technical Architect in UNINETT. He is currently working with building an API Platform called Feide Connect, interconnecting services with data in higher education and research in Norway. Throughout the years he has been involved in several research activities on authentication and authorization infrastructures, such as leading the research activity “Identity Federations” within the pan-European research programme GÉANT3. He has initiated several successful software projects including SimpleSAMLphp and Foodle. Andreas graduated from the department of telemathics at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim in 2004 with an MSc in communication technology specializing in teletraffic engineering.
