Authentication nowadays is much more than sending a username and password. It’s a complicated journey with multiple steps the user has to pass in order to verify identity. Hypermedia proves to be the best solution for such a complicated flow in APIs. In this talk, we’ll show how Curity’s Hypermedia Authentication API uses this approach to enable simple implementation on client-side while maintaining the flexibility of an authentication flow driven by the Authorization Server.
