David Gorton Ping Identity
Identity is key for true API security. However, Identity as part of API strategy is often unknown or overlooked—causing tangible security and control problems. Without the right security and controls, APIs are open to be taken advantage of and infiltrated.
In this session, we will detail why and how:
* Client-only API security is inadequate. * Identity provides more control by extending standard security controls. * OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect are the security standards of choice for APIs.
