At the 2018 Platform Summit, Nordic APIs handed out an award to the best public API of 2018. As nominated and voted for by the community. Now is your chance to nominate and vote for the best public API of 2019. Voting is now closed and a winner has been announced.

All of the nominees are invited to demo their API at the 2019 Platform Summit. The owner of the winning Public API will be invited up on stage to do a short presentation of the API. They will also receive a trophy, and a digital badge to add to their website. We will also do a review of the winning API on the Nordic APIs blog.

Amadeus Travel APIs connect you to information in the travel industry. They are following an open API approach, with a full self-service offer where you can create an account in a few minutes. You can get access to all the documentation without creating an account. You can get access to all the APIs for free in a test environment, they also offer an interactive documentation to test the APIs and a Postman collection. They provide SDKs, code samples, guides and a good support (technical support on StackOverflow).
