Service mesh has emerged as the technology to solve the service-to-service communication challenge in microservices architecture with the positive and negative comments that accompany the hype and also confusion on the changing application networking patterns. This talk will cover how we got to service mesh and more specifically will go beyond the network itself and what else is possible once we abstract the network from the application.
