Currently serving as Senior Director & Platform Owner within Enterprise Architecture (EA) at CIBC, a leading Canadian bank, Eyal is responsible for the overall Platforms and Products strategy at the bank. In particular, he owns the strategy for the API Foundation, CIBC’s award-winning API & microservices platform, the Enterprise Data Hub, CIBC’s in-house big data & analytics platform, as well as the development of future internal platforms based on emerging technology such as blockchain and AI/ML. In addition, Eyal provides architecture support to CIBC’s Innovation Team and leads their technical strategy for the adoption of Open Banking. In his role at the bank, Eyal leverages his 25 years of IT experience in management, business analysis, systems integration and distributed application architecture to drive the bank towards client-focused agility, rapid innovation and global technology leadership.
