Edward Marootian, Jr.
Edward is the Vice President of Product Management for API products at SmartBear. In this role, he drives the development of tools that enable software development teams to build, test, and monitor software that is powering the API economy.
Edward is an accomplished veteran of the enterprise technology industry having spent two decades in senior product roles with organizations including Oracle, HP, CA Technologies, and eBay. He has been instrumental in developing new products and transforming mature product lines into growth engines by helping clients solve their most difficult business and technology challenges.
Earlier in his career, Edward worked in the former Soviet Union on Privatization and Economic Development policy and programs.
Edward is a graduate of MIT’s Advanced Management Program, has an MA from The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy – Tufts University, and a BS from UMass Lowell.
