As APIs evolve, they must change. Yet, how can we version APIs without breaking integrations? This hourlong webinar will bring in expert viewpoints on how to update APIs and maintain stability throughout the entire software lifecycle.
Erik Wilde will explain what API lifecycle management means in general, looking at why it’s beneficial to take a product management approach to API evolution. Marjukka Niinioja, APItalista, Osaango Ltd, will then discuss how to evolve APIs from the consumer perspective to avoid breaking change, comparing semantic versioning with alternative versioning approaches and best practices.
