MCP Governance: What Is It and What Does It Look Like?

MCP, the “action button” on top of any corporate AI instance, is attracting attention really fast. It is compelling & easy to implement. Because of that, a lot of departments and teams inside larger organizations are implementing their own AI solutions, including MCP servers. That leads to “MCP Sprawl”: MCP servers all over the place inside a company that are unmanaged, unsecure and potentially easy ways to access large amounts of sensitive/secret company data.
During this short demo, Jarno will show how Axway Amplify Engage, Axway’s multi-gateway, independent developer portal 2.0, is extended to be able to cover MCP Servers as “just another integration asset”. That means MCP Servers are added to the Service Registry, making them visible. Visible assets can be managed, quality assured & made available for other developers (push for re-use).
