Follow along as we build a GraphQL API using Apollo and Neo4j Database. We’ll show how to leverage the scale of serverless for our GraphQL API and how to take advantage of 3rd party services like Auth0 for handling authentication and authorization in our GraphQL app. This demo-heavy live-coding presentation will focus on showing developers how they can maximize productivity and scalability when building GraphQL services. While developing a simple restaurant review application with React, we will show how to build a JavaScript Node.js GraphQL server and deploy to a serverless environment using functions-as-a-service, including how to integrate with a database and connect to our client app. Finally we will add authorization and authentication to our app, showing how to lock down our GraphQL API.
