A More Diverse API Community Are you knowledgable in APIs and part of an underrepresented group? We would love to have you more involved in our community! We know there’s a lot of great and knowledgeable tech women (and others) out there, and we want to help you be more visible and bring more diversity to our events and blog. We want to do our part in making the tech community more equal. Whether the absence of female speakers and attendees at tech events depend on insufficient funds from the employer, a fear of speaking or something else entirely, we want to help in any way we can, so don’t hesitate to get in touch. Together we can create a more diverse and inclusive tech community – a win for all. Use the menu on the left, or click “next” for some examples on how we can offer support. Apply for Funding Since Nordic APIs is a community for everyone, we want to keep the ticket prices as low as possible. All proceeds are used to fund the community and keep costs and commercial bias to a minimum. This means that we usually don’t offer travel assistance to the speakers at our events. However, we have set aside some assets to help women travel to our events to speak, and to help amplify their voice in the tech community. If you would like to apply for funding, please fill out the form below. Notice: JavaScript is required for this content.
