In recent years, API threats continue to soar. Especially during the COVID pandemic, APIs continue to be abused by hackers in a wide variety of ways. In this event, we feature security experts David Stewart, Critical Blue, and Jacob Ideskog, Curity. We’ll explore the modern threats APIs face and the security nuances unique to 2020. We’ll also get an update on how the OAuth and OpenID Connect standards are used to protect APIs and predict where the future of identity-driven API security is heading.
Nordic APIs LiveCasts are entirely free to attend. We welcome attendees to view in realtime so they may ask questions. Nordic APIs Editor in Chief Bill Doerrfeld will introduce the LiveCast and lead Q&A discussion between lightning sessions.

Much of API security boils down to how you handle identity. In Identity and APIs, we discover the techniques to secure platform access and delegate access throughout a mature API ecosystem. As enterprises invest heavily in web API strategies, they must rethink security, incorporating concepts like OAuth, OpenID Connect, and the API Security Maturity Model.
