Nowadays, when we deal with APIs, we also talk directly about the standardization OpenAPI. OpenAPI is a description of REST APIs that describes how they work. This can be read both by people and machines. Using standardization, a consumer of an API is enabled to interact with the interface and with a small amount of code.
In this session I would like to present a continuous development process based on OpenAPI, which starts at “API first” and ends with tests and mocks, finally with documentation. In this way, we will also encounter topics such as evolutionary development, immutability, security, and these must be mastered with best practices.
