As Country Manager Nordics Steffen Hedebrandt is responsible for Elance-oDesk’s activities in the Nordic countries. He first joined the company in April 2012, serving the role as Client Marketing Manager for Europe.
Truly passionate about Internet trends and entrepreneurship, Steffen Hedebrandt possesses a rich experience in startup businesses, as well as in online marketing. Prior joining Elance-oDesk, he was the founder and owner of the Danish online marketing company Ambidextrous and held the Chief of Operations position at VintageandRare.com.
Besides his role at Elance-oDesk Steffen is also an active blogger and thought leader. In Børsen, the largest business newspaper in Denmark, Steffen has his own blog, while he has also been featured in publications and medias like The Guardian, Berlingske, Aftenposten and SRF.
Furthermore, Steffen has a big network within the Nordic Startup scene, where he acts as an Advisor and Jury member to a bunch of Startup related association like Venture Cup, Nordic Startup Awards, Danish Crowdsourcing Association and KPH Accelerator.
Steffen Hedebrandt holds a B.Sc. in Economics and Business administration, at Aalborg Universitet, and a M.Sc. in Strategy, Organization and Leadership, at Copenhagen Business School.
