Unconference session: Bulding Scalable APIs Andreas Krohn September 5, 2013 Let’s come together and talk about the lore, art, science, practice, and experience of building scalable and high-available APIs. How do you add more and more users? How do you handle being “mashup’ed”? How do you measure and improve performance? How do you structure your architecture to scale? How do you avoid 503/504 errors? You probably have hundreds questions like these – everything beyond the design of APIs itself. We will discuss these and share our experiences and best practices in doing API devops. This is an unconference session organised by Federico Hernandez, System Architect at Västtrafik. Federico spoke at Nordic APIs Copenhagen in May and knows a lot of how to make APIs scale and how to build reliable API infrastructure. Come to Nordic APIs 18-19 september to attend this session. Do you want to create an unconference session? Everyone attending Nordic APIs can create an unconference session by either mailing Contact us or, once the conference has started, go to the unconference grid posted on a wall in the conference centre and simply add your session there.
