Casey has been working on cloud video platforms since 2006, with a focus on scalable encoding platforms. He is currently the Product Manager in charge of transcoding and API services for the core video technology team at Brightcove. Casey translates and publishes Japanese literature, and acts in advisory roles to a number of San Francisco and Tokyo based startups.
