As APIs and the services that drive them become ubiquitous, so too do the threats that face them. These threats are no longer isolated – at times, they reach the level of organized crime, terrorism, and even state-sponsored warfare.

In this talk, we’re going to highlight the threats posed to API developers in the modern era, and the backdrop of a digital world war that is driving these attacks, while we identify ways to protect these services and their users.

We’ll discuss best practices, implementing proper authentication methodologies, and adopting proper internal and external security policies for effective threat mitigation.
