In this talk I will discuss how GraphQL and gRPC can happily coexist together. Both technologies on a surface a solution for the same problem – an API although from very different angles. gRPC is a de-facto solution for service-to-service communication in a microservices architecture, solving efficiency issues, backward compatibility and speed, while GraphQL allows for more flexibility for front end developers. In reality, you need to have both. So the main point of this talk is how to make the two technologies coexist in the same stack, as different approaches for architecting a solution.
