Starting from 2014, Exact embarked on an exciting journey to boost their partner eco-system and their first step was to create a new REST API coupled with an App Center dedicated to specific Exact applications which would make use of the REST API. The transition towards an API-powered business model to which both customers and partners can adhere to, was not easy though! Through well planned deliveries, scheduled and highly scrutinized release plans, lots of data and behavioural analysis from both internal and external developers – the journey expands, improves and becomes more successful by the day.
