Sure, we could have hired someone to (re)create our developer portal, developer.sas.com. However, we wanted the freedom to build our portal from the ground up. But, it takes more than an API architect and a developer advocate to create a modern, interactive developer experience. This session provides an overview of the steps we took to relaunch the SAS AI and analytics platform developer portal. Who was involved? How did we accomplish what we wanted to build? We’ll explore the stakeholders involved, the importance of open-source technologies, and why focusing on the developer’s perspective matters. This is not a marketing pitch to promote SAS services. Instead, it’s a detailed look at the process we followed to deploy our new developer portal.
