Let’s talk a little about what API governance is and what it means to teams across a variety of enterprise organizations. For most organizations API governance begins with providing API design guidelines for API developers spread across teams, helping them deliver more consistent APIs across different platforms. Let’s explore some of the fundamentals of API governance, and understanding how API specifications like OpenAPI help in defining, implementing, and reporting upon how governance is (or isn’t) being applied.
