The 2018 Platform Summit is no exception, and it’s shaping up to be our largest event to date.

The 2018 Platform Summit is an API-oriented event organized by Europe’s largest API community: Nordic APIs.

The event will take place between October 22-24th at Clarion Hotel Stockholm, in Stockholm, Sweden. The event starts with half-day workshops on October 22th, where attendees themselves can choose between five different workshops. The workshops are optional, but are a valuable addition since they offer in-depth knowledge on specific subjects.

Following the half-day workshops is the two-day main event with a wide range of educational sessions held by experienced industry experts and keynote speakers from significant technology companies. Therefore, I would like to request approval to attend, as this will help me evolve my technical abilities and knowledge about API practices.

The 2018 Platform Summit will have three parallel tracks, both on the tech and business side of APIs, with sessions covering API Insights like: API Platforms, API Strategy, API Marketing, API Business Models, API Security, and API Design. The sessions will be held by very experienced API practitioners from a wide range of different companies.

If I attend I’ll receive:

  • About 20 hours of educational sessions, several of which are highly relevant to our business.
  • An overview of the latest industry trends.
  • A chance to meet international thought leaders and discuss API best practices.
  • Several hours of high level networking and access to key sponsors and demos.
