Traffic Jam Sessions is a 3 day event in Malmö, Sweden that aims to create prototypes for new innovative public transport services as well as to spread the knowledge of how Open Data and APIs can be used. It starts already next Tuesday (May 27th) and continues till Thursday (May 29th).

Participate in the Traffic Jam Challenge

Fuled by great presentations, a lot of data, great technical and project support and great facilities participants in the hackathon challenge compete to create the best prototype for a new public transport service. You can register either as a team or an individual (you will then be assigned a team), but you need to hurry.

If hacking together ideas of how public transport will be better in the future is not your thing, then you can register as a visitor and come to see the presentations as well as the gran finale on Thursday the 29th. The presentations cover everything from Go To Market Innovation strategies and Google Glass to how to use Open Street Maps and how to visualize data for urban planning.
