We want you to speak at Nordic APIs World Tour which is being held in Copenhagen, Munich, London, and Seattle from May 11 – 15. Join Microsoft, Axway, Twitter, CA Technologies, Apigee, Ping Identity and many others on stage and take an active part in the global APIs community. You will get valuable time in front of a knowledgeable and influential audience and be seen as one of the leaders of the industry.

It’s all about the API Life Cycle

The theme of the conference is the API Life Cycle, and we have defined what we mean by this in a blog post.

API Lifecycle

We would love it if you could share your own stories from the trenches, sharing real experiences learned while publishing an API, using APIs and building API platforms. You are probably a Developer, Enterprise Architect, Business Developer, Stategist or similar and knows about the technical and/or business aspects of one or more of the following sub-themes:

  • API Business Models
  • API Marketing
  • API Strategy
  • API Growth Models
  • API Security
  • API Design

This includes (but is not limited to) presentations about the Internet of Things, Open Data, Social Media, Mobile, Quantified Self, Startup API strategies, and Cloud Computing. We are very open to ideas so Contact us and we can discuss whatever idea you might have regarding Nordic APIs presentations.

How to apply to speak at Nordic APIs

Send an email to Contact us with a short description of your presentation and yourself. If you have it please include links to your blog, published slides from previous presentations, links to any relevant videos, etc. (Don’t worry if you don’t have all this; it is not critical.) Do not hesitate to send us a mail if you have any questions or concerns; we want to hear from you.

Practical Details

  • Presentations are 20-30 minutes long.
  • The whole conference, and thus all presentations, will be held in English
  • Nordic APIs World Tour takes place in Copenhagen on May 11, Munich on May 12, London on May 13, and Seattle on May 15.
  • Participants are most likely Programmers, Enterprise Architects, Business Developers or similar.
  • What we do NOT want are product pitches.

How do we pick presentations?

We want great stories and presentations that provide the audience with insights into how they can be better API practitioners. Will will pick presentations that fit into that as well as presentations that we can group into cohesive interesting blocks. The decisions are made by the Nordic APIs team and are final.
